Resources

There are a whole host of resources available for every level of the fruit growing industry. We’ve collected some of them here but if you know of a valuable resource, be it a website, document or organisation that you’d like to share with others, please let us know.

Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development

We aim to create a progressive, innovative and profitable agriculture and food sector that benefits Western Australia. We support the success of our state's agrifood businesses through services and partnerships that help increase industry profitability and sustainability, while safeguarding our state's precious natural resources. DPIRD drives the economic development of the agriculture and food sector in Western Australia (WA), with a focus on export-led growth. We also undertake research, development and extension activities with partners around Australia and throughout the world to harness the best knowledge and technical excellence available

Plant Health Australia

Plant Health Australia (PHA) was formed in recognition that, in global terms, Australia is fortunate to experience a relative freedom from pests, weeds and diseases that can affect plant industries. We have been able to build a valuable reputation as a reliable and efficient supplier of quality plant products that are clean and free from diseases, pests and weeds. With the majority of plant industries having or developing a significant export component to their business, the need for Australia to enhance its plant health status and plant health arrangements has become increasingly important.

Horticulture Innovation Australia

Horticulture Innovation Australia Limited (Hort Innovation) is the industry services body for the Australian horticultural industries, as declared by the Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources under the Horticulture Marketing and Research and Development Services Act 2000 (Cth). Horticulture Innovation is responsible for managing and investing the levy funds received from levy payers for the benefit of 33 horticultural commodities, and matching eligible research and development contributions from the Australian Government, for the benefit of Australian horticultural industries and the Australian community. As such, Hort Innovation partners with the Australian Government to deliver research, development, and marketing services to horticultural levy payers.
